OUR STORY

It all started when…

Founder & Creative Director Irina was raised in Bulgaria where growing up in her mom's tailor studio she cultivated a strong sense of aesthetics and an even stronger relationship with fashion. 

Over the years she worked with some big industry names, while living in Barcelona  - companies like Burberry and Nike. She also freelanced as a fashion stylist and producer, handling campaign after another, before she moved onto haute couture to work with brands like Oscar De La Renta, Carolina Herrera and Vera Wang at Farah Novias. Eventually, she grew out of the corporate world and sought adventure in the wild world - travelling from country to country, collecting inspiration and building relationships with remote communities, where people still lived true to their ancestors’ ways and preserved their ancient traditions, beliefs and aesthetics. The vibrance, purity and wilderness of these communities enchanted her and the passion to explore them further grew stronger. 

Then O O H. was born.

“My experience in fashion and design, matched with an adventurous spirit and a heart of an activist, shaped the pillars of the company as a social brand. We create ethical collections which aim to promote awareness and improve the lives of communities in third world countries, by bringing you their stories and preserving the timelessness of their designs through our products worn around the world. For me, working hand in hand with local artisans on the garments is an intimate process. I aim to create vivid collections rich with ethnic heritage, a story and a cause.”
