Origin of Hearts is the vision of Irina Petrova, a former fashion industry professional whose career began at the head offices of global houses including Nike and Burberry, before evolving into something far more personal.

After years immersed in the structure and pace of corporate fashion, Irina chose a different path—one guided by travel, cultural exchange, and human connection. From Papua New Guinea to Kenya, her journeys were not observational but immersive, shaping a deeper understanding of craft, tradition, and storytelling beyond trend cycles.

With a life spanning Barcelona, her home for over 17 years, and Ubud, Bali, Origin of Hearts emerged at the meeting point of refined European sensibility and island craftsmanship. In Bali, Irina works closely with local artisans and family-run workshops, drawing inspiration from traditional batik techniques, ceremonial motifs, and the unhurried rhythm of island life.

The result is a collection of timeless, unisex kimonos—considered in form, expressive in print, and consciously made. Each piece is crafted from carefully selected fabrics, celebrating colour, movement, and individuality while honouring sustainable production.

Designed for travel, ritual, and everyday ease, Origin of Hearts exists beyond seasons and trends. It is clothing with intention—for those who move through the world with curiosity, awareness, and an open heart.
