Next To Me - a collab with Le Baho

Origin of Hearts was born out of passion for people and the things that inspire them.

Since our humble beginning, we’ve advocated for those who aren’t afraid to embrace their passions and live fiercely, while making their dreams come true - no matter how big or small. Not only that but we’ve been lucky to have that support return tenfold - our OOH. Family is friends and followers are a true definition of go-getters and trend setters within their industries, never shying away from taking the extra mile when achieving their wildest, most inspiring dreams.

Such is the case of Bastien Horisberger - the multi-hyphenate behind Le Baho. Bastien, a native of Switzerland, is a singer, songwriter and a producer, who’s put in his time and effort towards building a spot for himself within the music industry and after years of work in the studio released his debut single ‘Window’ in 2021, which caught the attention of many on Spotify.

Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, Bastien started to hone his craft on many instruments with a multi-faceted approach of overseeing every aspect of the recording process. Giving himself full creative control, Le BAHO has been portraying a narrative to explore and unleash his notion of experiences with sound and poetry.

Inspired by neo-soul and jazz pioneers such as Jordan Rakei, Daniel Caeser and FKJ, Le BAHO now arrives with his sumptuous sophomore release ‘Next To Me’. Crisp and clean from the first second, BAHO has a clean and delicate vocal that is highly reminiscent of Rakei, and he gives a fresh take on the ever- expanding genres aforementioned.

We were thrilled to partner with Bastien and feature a piece of our OOH. legacy in the video for his latest single Next To Me. Bastien wrote this song, inspired by the gentle period of an early morning, while laying next to a loved one and finding it hard to see them leave for the day. He drew emotion from those intimate moments when two people, sheltered away from the big world in the warm comfort of each other’s arms, enjoy each others company and don’t want to let the sweetness of the simplest joy disappear into the day.
