How They Wore It vol. 10
It’s been over a month into 2021 and while it may seem like we are still losing a bit by being locked inside our homes and having our travel plans halted for the unforeseeable future, we can’t help but feel like there are so many more wins that are being observed. Many people choose growth over stagnant living and our OOH. fans and family continue to bless us with inspiration through the lives they choose to live.
So without further ado, feast your eyes and get inspired by this month’s HTWI round-up:
EL
Elitsa is a Bulgarian-native, who resided in New York for years. She was a prominent figure in the city’s bustling nightlife, working for high-end nightclubs and living her one, best life. Some years ago she decided to make the switch from a dynamic lifestyle to one that allows her to help people on a different level. She followed her passion for the medical industry and is now a full-time nurse, who has been tirelessly working through the pandemic and feeling as rewarded as ever.
She is also an avid traveller and her passion for people and foreign places has paired perfectly throughout her adventures and allowed her to connect with people from all over the world. Elitsa is a long-time OOH. family member and we’ve been nothing short of proud to watch her grow and blossom into an unbelievable human over the years!
KELTAN
Keltan resides in California and currently invests his time working for a tech startup within the travel industry (something we can absolutely not wait to hear more about!). He is also a fashion model and a passionate photographer and videographer, dedicating his free time to developing his passion and connecting with like minded professionals. In addition, he is a former professional swimmer, who competed at the US Olympic trials for the US in both 2016 and 2020.
Kelton is a well-rounded, determined individual who not only embodies the OOH. values but is a living proof that being passionate and curious about life, opens doors for many opportunities in life!

DEREK
Derek & Irena are a power couple with an immense passion for dance. In fact, they met and fell for one another during a contact dance workshop. Derek is an entrepreneur and online marketing guru. He is a dancer and a musician and can often be found surfing waves and living his life with Irena on the Island of Gods.

IRENA
Irena is a women and feminine embodiment coach, who has dedicated her practice to guiding women on their journey to activate their feminine power, essence and inner pleasure. She offers group and 1:1 guidance programs, as well as organizes private retreats in Bali for those who are looking to rediscover themselves.

JETTE
Model turned fresh Bali arrival, Jette Lindner landed on the Island of the Gods from Germany with a new perspective on (kimono) life. Leaving Berlin’s legendary nightclubs behind meant embracing a look better suited for resort life, and she found that in her first Origin Of Hearts kimono. From school runs to lounging around the house to hosting New Year’s Eve, it’s always done in OOH.
Passion is at the core of each human being and it’s easy to forget that it is all we need to make a lasting change in our lives and motivate ourselves to keep pushing further.
If there is one thing that we’ve learnt through trial and error, through hearing the stories shared with us each day, through watching people evolve despite the restrictions imposed on them...If there is one thing that we can pass on to you all, it is this: there is never just one, right moment to change the course of your life and get yourself out of a situation that isn’t fulfilling.
The time is now and always will be - go out, chase your passions, do it.
