A look back at 2019

As we prepare to bring in a new year and a new decade, we can’t help but smile when we look back at this year and the incredible gifts it’s brought our way.

2019 has been an amazing year of growth and expansion for the OOH. family. With barely any days off - even when on vacation - we worked tirelessly to extend our concept beyond our usual demographic and expand it to other corners of the world. Here are just a few of the things we’re proud to look back on this year:

  • We said “Goodbye” to a few of our limited edition best sellers - because we can’t grow without learning to let go - and “Hello” to a few new ones.

  • We collaborated with numerous artists and influencers from all over the globe - individuals who share our passion for slow-living and sartorial ideals - through tailored influencer programs and creative projects.

  • We welcomed a new “buddy”: The Silk Short - our new addition and matching partner to our beloved kimonos. We further launched our new line of belt bags, which has been a hit amongst our clients in colder corners of the world.

  • We broke ground and build the foundation for our School for Kids with Disabilities in Bali

  • We took part in various festivals both in Bali and beyond: Nomads for Change, Gardens of Babylon, Ritual Gatherings in Tulum, Bedouin and more.

  • We partnered with the Arsa Foundation and Pyramids of Chi to introduce both our styles and charitable work to a larger, more diverse demographic.

  • We participated in a joint Fashion Show with local designer Yunita Harun with her surf swimwear line Udaka

  • We joined a couple of new online retailers: Rise Fashion and Black Book Fashion

In addition, we launched RVOLT, our unisex vegan lip balm, in collaboration with Canadian-based Cherry Crush Cosmetics.

We also welcomed Raya T Shearer: our long-time friend, customer and creative consultant based in Toronto, Canada as our new Head of Marketing. Raya will be leading our Social Media and Marketing initiatives and working closely with the team to expand our reach and help us bring OOH. Styles into more stores near you.

But most of all…

We wouldn’t have been able to do it all without all of YOU - our family and friends, our customers and all of the artists who have and continue to support us through this journey.

We wish you all a smooth and unforgettable start to 2020 and a year filled with abundant inspiration, personal growth and love!
